Myrene Magabo specializes in communication, education, research, strategic planning and development. She is currently pursuing her doctoral degree in Communication at the University of Philippines – Open University  She is currently a writing and speech communication instructor, with two years of teaching experience in the Philippines, one year of teaching experience in the beautiful island of Guam, California, and eight years of teaching experience at Penn State University and at the University of Phoenix. As a character driven person, Myrene values diversity and is guided by her sense of integrity; she brings that awareness to her students. A hard worker and dedicated employee, Myrene is also tech savvy and maintains a professional blog that reiterates her career highlights, and reveals her principles and educational philosophies. Myrene is a fan of travel (whether it is for a conference or a personal and family travel), and she takes advantage by communicating with new people wherever in the world she finds herself. She maintains important relationships with family outside the U.S. For fun she spends time with her husband and daughter, and in between trips to nature, they enjoy watching reality TV with documentary features like The History and Travel Channels or the Food Network.
