Dr. Jonathan Eliot Este Fisher, MD FACC is a Harvard-trained physician and practicing cardiologist with 20 years of clinical experience, Dr. Jonathan has a great passion for listening and believes effective listening is very important while doing medical practice for successful results .

His leadership appointments at Novant Health include Regional Medical Director of the Cardio-Pulmonary-Oncology Rehabilitation and Wellness Program, Design Team Member and Facilitator for the COVID19 Burnout Prevention and Recovery Task Force, Organizational Resilience and Well-being Team, Empathic Communication Workshop Team, and Organizational On boarding and Engagement Design Team. Dr. Fisher is a proud member of the global community of mindful leaders and healers helping to create a more kind, compassionate, and connected world — one heart at a time. Dr. Fisher has helped thousands of individuals live longer and better lives. Having recovered from his own decade-long journey through anxiety and burnout as a cardiologist working on the front lines of life and death, he now helps organizations, leaders, and teams heal and reverse the spiral of disengagement and burnout by sharing proven concepts and methods to enhance joy, peak performance, and well-being. As a deep listener and compassionate coach, Dr. Fisher empowers participants in growth oriented keynotes, empathic communication workshops, and life transforming retreats focusing on stress management, resilience, mindset mastery, and emotional intelligence. Combining his training as a heart doctor and as a certified mindfulness meditation teacher, he has a unique ability to help others master the power of presence, emotional calm, mental clarity, and deeper interpersonal connection. Dr. Fisher focuses on self-care and integrates the science of optimal human health with the art of joyful and heartful living. He was the recipient of the Arnold Dunne Award for Compassion and Dedication to Patient Care at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital. He has also been awarded the Dr. John J. Bookman Memorial Prize for Outstanding Performance in Internal Medicine and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society at The Mount Sinai School of Medicine.
