Dr. Margarita Kefalaki internationally famous and a dynamic personality and is the founder and current President of the Dr. Margarita Kefalaki is the founder and current President of the Communication Institute of Greece COMinG. Dr. Kefalaki holds a Ph.D. in Cultural Communication and a Professional Master degree in Communication from Pascal Paoli University in Corsica (France). Additionally, she holds a Bachelor degree in cultural communication and organization of events from Vauban University in Nimes (Montpellier III) and another in business management from a Technological Institute in Greece.
Margarita is actually a visiting Professor at the Hellenic Open University, the Regional Vice-President of the European Network for Economic Cooperation and Development (EUCED) EEIG, for Greece
Additionally, Dr. Kefalaki is an accredited educator in Adult Education and a Certified Assessor for projects on communication and management. 
Concerning her position as a Professor at the Hellenic Open University, Margarita teaches intercultural/cultural communication and management in the postgraduate programme Cultural Organizations Management. Her research interest focuses on media and culture and international communication. Dr Margarita has a lot of interest in the field of listening She has written article on Listening. She believes effective listening skills are important to be a better academician. Today the world needs effective skills. which the academicians can provide through training. This is the reason Dr Margarita Kefalaki joined Global Listening Centre www.globallisteningcentre.org
Margarita has taught in several universities in Greece and France, and has published widely in academic and policy journals such as the Journal of ‘Business and Management Research’ and the ‘International Small Business Journal’.

Margarita has successfully led several intercultural projects like the creation of a musical disc in three languages, where she signs the creation of the album (financial support, communication, lyrics in three languages, music). This project was created with the help of Action3 of the European Program for young People of INJEP .
It is in Margarita’s believes that via education, exchange and knowing each other better, developing listening skills  we can learn to communicate effectively and we can act together for a better world, for a better future…

The main purpose of this International Academic Association is the organisation of International Events, like International Conferences, where Academics, Researchers, and Professionals, from all over the world, can meet, exchange, and collaborate.

Academics have a main role in all this, this is what we are trying to achieve with the Communication Institute of Greece and the organization of International Academic Conferences.
